A Fruitful Legacy Provides Future Income

/files/Images Folder/ChildrenHomeSS.jpgAlthough Ernest and Faye Geeslin of Albany, Georgia have passed away, they continue to bear fruit for God’s glory through the $2+ million legacy gift they left behind.

“Faye Geeslin was the last to survive. Through her will, she established a permanent endowment fund that will provide future income to six different beneficiaries,” said the Rev. Wayne Racz, the Foundation’s senior vice president. “This was her way of leaving a lasting and significant legacy.”

Thanks to the Geeslins’ vision and generosity, countless generations will be blessed. Children and youth in need of love will learn how precious and significant they are through the Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon and The Vashti Center in Thomasville.

Students at Andrew College in Cuthbert and Wesleyan College in Macon will find assistance as they prepare to lead fruitful lives. People of all ages will deepen their faith in an environment of beauty at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island. Porterfield UMC in Macon will continue to provide edifying worship services and empowering ministries.

“The Geeslins’ contribution to God's kingdom is their testimony to God's goodness and grace,” said Racz. “As a result of this gift, the many beneficiaries of The Faye and Ernest Geeslin Memorial Fund will be equipped and empowered to fulfill God’s purposes and plans for their lives.”
